As the narrative goes, if you hit back you are a 'woman beater' and if you don't hit back, and take a beating, you are a 'sissy.'

Quite the narrative that has been constructed. It's a bit like the 18th century really, if a man is found to have beaten his wife he is tied to a post and lashed, and if he is found to have been bested by his wife in a fight he is dragged through a village on a cart while everyone beats him with pots and pans.

Girl Gangs can be incredibly violent and most of them use the "don't hit girls" social norm to their advantage.

This an interesting mix of privilege (the real kind, held by a woman in this case), race, sexism and nepotism. Would that MP have been so active in response to anyone except her own son being attacked? Her response seems slippery in a very political way. Her son was put in hospital by a gang of untouchable violent black females. I wonder if she wants to mention race but considers it politically dangerous. Most likely she won't mention sexism because that works against her traditionalist values.

This is just another example of the culture we live in teaching us that we can't defend ourselves against violence from women. It's boggling, the way they've institutionalized their corrupt morals. I remember last year I was riding the bus and mentioned to one of my friends what would they do if they were assaulted by a woman, all they could respond was "Don't hit back. You can't. You can't attack a woman, no matter what." And as I further pressed the question to what if they were being kidnapped by a woman, they were only able to say that same thing again. It's depressing to think third wave feminism has become so ingrained in our society, but luckily it appears that our men's rights narrative is growing.

dunno how to feel about this, part of me feels its karma, if you yourself hold ridiculous bigoted views such as "You should never ever strike a woman under any circumstance" i really have no sympathy for you when you get stomped by one. since your view is instrumental in the injustice people receive when they do fight back and its justified.

I box and have hit hundreds of women in training, and been hit by them too. you have ever right both morally and legally to defend yourself from attack regardless of sex.
