I noticed this too. If the video is intended solely to be an art project about consent and control of women's bodies - and not about her alleged rape - then why are the videos time stamped to the date of the alleged incident?

Normally I don't put much stock in "conspiracy theories" like this, I suspect the article is dead right about this one. Given the amount of publicity surrounding Sulkowicz and Nungesser, it would not be unreasonable for a person to conclude that the video is intended to be a re-enactment of the alleged incident. That would make the video libellous.

The video could absolutely be found to harm Nungesser, it's published without his consent, and the "Truth" defence can't be raised because neither the college nor the police were willing to prosecute him. I strongly suspect the changes were made on the recommendation of a lawyer, or are the result of a 'cease and desist".

Sulkowicz is quite clearly Crown Princess of Crazyland. This isn't art, it's a disgrace. I cannot believe that she hasn't been arrested for some of this shit.

The date was commented on, on multiple articles after the release.. not to mention the many thousands of viewers who noticed. Is she really stupid enough to believe they'd just... forget? LOL. I hope Nungesser ruins her.

That's it. When I first heard about this whole mattress thing and the flimsy case it was based on, I thought to myself, "I wonder if this girl is just emotionally disturbed," but refrained from leaping to that conclusion. Then, when this sex tape came out, I though, "Okay, no, definitely emotionally disturbed," but in the back of my mind, I still told myself that I didn't know her and shouldn't leap to conclusions. Now she pulls this shit and claims the site went down due to a DDOS attack—three strikes, she's a complete bag'o'cats. Nungesser should absolutely sue the crap out of her, and I hope he takes both her and Columbia to the cleaners.

Wait I think I have seen a different video to this. The video I saw was all artsy. It was all black and white with clips of the sea and a knife stabbing a chicken.

Sulkowicz claims that the site only went down on Friday afternoon due to a distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack, a form of cyberattack where a website is overwhelmed and crashes due to a simulated surge in traffic.

No, that was just the reddit hug of death. There was no "simulation" of a surge in traffic, there was an actual surge in traffic.
