I obviously could get my lawyer involved but I'm going to wait and see if she really meant what she sent or just sent me a dump of overall expenses. I knew she was going to do this because she had mentioned it a few weeks ago when she was way behind on preparing and sending the data. This was from April/May/June and was supposed to be in my hand by 7/15. We have some basic language but things like video games (entertainment), clothes, household items for their beds, shoes and such she didn't talk to me about first so because our agreement says we have to discuss things first - they are automatically a nope but also these items are covered by child support I believe so also a nope there.

She's nickel and diming me because she doesn't want to have to write me a check I think.

Edit to clarify: I pay child support to her - a lot actually. A few thousand a month at the moment usually because I make so much more than her even though we have 50/50 custody.

We do have some extra expenses that we're supposed to discuss before we agree to split. If the other doesn't agree and the 1st still wants to spend it then they can but they can't ask for reimbursement. We are supposed to discuss items we split beforehand.

We're in California, Child support covers the basics and entertainment is included in the basics. We both buy them video games, clothes, shoes, etc but I am not asking her to reimburse me for those things and it appears she thinks she should get reimbursed.

If need be I will produce a letter from my attorney but first I simply asked: "Why are you including all these things that we never agreed to split per our extra expenses agreement?"

Edit #2: She sent me two emails last night and I only read the one with the attachment. In the other she said 'I know some of these don't qualify' so it seems she knows she isn't getting all of it back. Still, she's spent about a month's worth of CS on the kids over 6 month's time based on these expenses.
