The US government has the "it's on us" campaign, but my question is WHY? If a guy commits murder, it's not my problem, that sucks and I hate that there is murder in the world but there is and that's how things are. I am not expected to murder people just because I am a male, but when someone tells you "make sure you don't rape people because I know you are likely to" that's kind of messed up. I mean if other guys choose to do awful things, why is that my problem. Sure we should strive to move society forward but I don't think this is the way to do it. It's going to end up being a witch hunt and we will have the "Red Scare part 2 Now with Rapists". Every time a woman sees you on the streets she will hold up a can of mace and threaten you to back us just because you are male. That stuff sucks and sure I feel empathy, but I would argue that a lot of people really just don't give a shit when bad things happen to people they don't know, and them someone says rape and everyone loses their mind. People are more butthurt about sexual assault than they were about the holocaust.
