I work in a field dominated by social justice, feminists and other ideologies that I find, generally, to be deplorable when actually reviewed and examined.

I'm a political libertarian, but I want to work in this field because it's the only one that gives me access to the young men and women that I want to help in life.

I never gain merit with the leader of the small staff [a woman], and I have a growing family outside of work. one on the way and a soon-to-be 5 year old step son.

I come in earlier than the both of them almost every single day, but I leave at the end of the day as my contract states my day ends. The other woman, non-boss, comes in late but stays later. [But she's usually on her computer doing personal things like browsing facebook or whatever else, because she doesn't want to pay for internet at home. I know this because I'm simultaneously the resident IT guy among many other hats I wear].

Today, boss lady is out of town and she emailed me and asked me to find something in her office. It took some rifling through papers, and eventually I found it, but not before I came across a piece of paper with glowing notes of my co-worker. Not a single negative thing.

I have first-handed seen some of the chaos that has ensued under her supervision, or lack thereof.

on the other hand, there was a page long list of 'unprofessional behavior' with my name at the top of it.

only one thing on the entire list seemed even slightly reasonable to me.

I've missed work four times since I've worked here [a year], one of which was agreed upon before I hired, well in advance. The other two were both emergency situations, two with my unborn child that required my presence at the hospital, and the other where I had food poisoning, and after working 3 days with it, I finally was advised by my doctor that I should not make the out of town trip that I was scheduled to go on or else I might get even worse and would have to be hospitalized.

Therefore, I took the day off.

I'm pissed, feeling disheartened and really fucking annoyed. Why does it seem impossible to gain ground with these women? It feels like they have a natural hostility to me. Any idea I put forth is shot down, but if my female co-worker brings up the same idea, often in the same meeting, it's the bloody gospel.

They're both busy romanticizing what they think is best for our youth, but often times their ideas are impractical, inconvenient, inefficient and generally over the top and not of much benefit. My ideas tend to be practical, and they have multiple times wound up being the "fall back" plan after the other ideas fell through due to my co-worker's incompetence and lack of foresight.

It's so many things I could mention, but they all seem to boil down to a general disregard for me and my ideas.

Just pissed.
