I've never really seen cis as offensive, here's my only problem with it. People in LGBT got to choose the term they would prefer to be called by, along with everyone else on the gender spectrum. I just don't like the fact that hetero people weren't given the choice to choose their own, we were just given the new label. Not really a big deal, I'm not pulling my hair out over it, if cis is what most hetero people want to go with than so be it.

Cisgendered isn't a slur. Its just a way of saying "you identify with the body you were born into". Yes, some people use it as a slur ("die cis scum" comes to mind). I am a cisgendered, pansexual woman. Does that matter in the big picture? Of course not. My values as a person matter, not my choice in partner or whether or not I identified as a girl early on.
