This is brilliant, I can't remember where I read it, but recently there was a publication stating the best way to make people less extreme was by making even more outragious statements then they were making. In a strange way, she is really doing us a favour.

I'll just re-post what I posted in the another thread.

Handmaid's Tale is considered a monstrous dystopia. A warning about the depths that humans can reach.

And she, along with some feminist voices, want to make a men's version of this into reality.

I always find it interesting that feminists get upset about bio-truths right up until they can twist them to support whatever position they are advocating.

And the sad thing is, it's something that, as of now, is actively being sought by women around the world.

You know even the most belligerent misogynist I've seen has never advocated genocide against women. Putting them "in their place" sure. But at least they'll tolerate them to live.

Whereas tossing around these notions of wiping out most of the male gender (jokingly, "jokingly", or seriously) seems to be not at all unheard of among feminist circles.

Here is what I think happened. The father of her child wronged her in some way. Now she is projecting that hate onto all men. Going so far as to want to enslave/kill all men. This woman needs medical attention. Her issues with men go beyond any social stigmas. I actually pity her.

On a serious note (although I was completely serious in my first sentence). The video in the article is 2 years old I remember watching it, and after that I haven't seen anything about her. So I guess her plan is coming along quite slow... I really don't know if she has some sort of mental issues, but I am more inclined to believe she has had bad experiences with men in her life and with the media not being very men friendly (with all the rape culture stuff and war going on that she believes is men's fault) that just re-enforces her views.

Luckily very few actually share her view.
