Let him hold the sign. At some point he may realize he's basically supporting the existence of an imaginary entitlement, and then he may face an internal crisis, realizing, "Wait, shit... the idea I supported is actually a load of shit. What should I do now?"

On the other hand, he may just turn into a white knight.

In either case, by all means, continue holding the sign. Think of it as an exercise in reality.

Cross out the word "male" and he has a point. A lot of people think they are entitled to anything they want. Some women need to know they are not entitled to half their spouse's wealth just because they married them or a monthly payment for splitting up with them, but that is hardly news. People in general have too big a sense of entitlement in one way or another. Different people feel they are just entitled to other things.

We can't know for sure based on the evidence provided, but it can be inferred that he believes men and boys to be far more entitled than they actually are.

I don't think theres anything wrong with him. I don't know if he knows that both women and men can be and are entitled, but either way he recognizes that at least one of the two genders can be entitled.

Maybe hes debasing himself for female approval, but how can we tell besides that sign?
