More anecdotal evidence why female empowerment does not work. I work in an independant factory of about 30 people. 60% women and 40% men. And 2 of my male supervisors, who I get on with, are always frustrated with their female subordinates. They either don't do enough or they try do 4 things at once and fail. Which is why we normally end up getting backed up and have to do it all at the last minute. One of them even threw out a grand worth of product, simply because she "didn't feel like doing it" that day. And with these co workers, we can't criticise them, discipline them, or sack them. I'm not saying all the women are like this, and there are certainly shit male co workers as well. But mostly it's the women, and all the while I'm at my station, secretly laughing and asking, 'well, are we ready to accept biological reality yet? No... Fine, then become a deficit business then.'
