It's called the collidge effect for anyone who could be bothered looking it up. There is a book called sex at dawn that shows similarities between sexual biology in human males and other mammals.

The tldr is that the males testosterone levels go down when he has had sex with one female too many times, so he loses the desire to mate her. But if he has sex with other females his testosterone levels raise and the libido returns, If he returns to mate with the original female then his desire to mate her will be raised back to similar levels as the first time.

Being with one female for life is not in our biological evolution, it's designed males to impregnate multiple females. Multiplication is essential for evolutionary survival.

Maybe when women say all men cheat, they are on to something. But perhaps we were never meant to be gelded in the first place.

Oof I don’t think AF/BB is the grand epidemic you think it is.

Like sure maybe some people do it but like….I’ve yet to hear of any real life examples of this or see anything so I’m assuming it’s a small minority.

So unless you are somehow with a person who fits the type that an ‘alpha’ would ever go for, why not just forget about the AF/BB idea and focus on building a healthy relationship not worrying about what hypothetical hot girls are doing with hypothetical hot guys?

Being a beta bucks is a personal choice, you can't make the that decision and complain about it later. In my opinion, men should have higher standards, before I got engaged, I had the mentality of I either get what want ori move on. I was never going to settle.
