I'm currently completing the docs to file my divorce. Joint custody at 50/50 is the standard in my state if I've read everything correctly but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the standard 2-2-3, 3-4, type of schedules. That's just a whole lot of hoop jumping my kids will have to go through. Back and forth 2-3 times a week doesn't give the kids much routine and stability. I'm sure there is something to those schedules I may not be seeing, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Would love to hear your creative 50/50 schedules if there are any out there. I'm considering suggesting a two week/two week rotation with visitation to all extra curricular activities in between so there isn't a huge gaping hole between seeing both parents. Both kids are extremely active and literally have activities every night of the week.
