My 11th anniversary is next month. We will still be legally married I'm sure but not celebrating obviously. Our 13 year dating anniversary was last month and it was just another day. The more I live with this person the more I see how non-empathetic they are and it's making it easier to get over grieving the marriage. I'm just staying in the house for the kids and for papers to be filed. Trying to maintain an amicable front for the kids and minimize interactions. Hang in there.

Our second anniversary is tomorrow (been together 20y+). I just submitted the divorce application today. We're still living together and get along but feelings towards each are gone. Weird times.

It’s okay to vent and be upset. You’re still living with the person that caused the hurt. The advice I always give is usually for later on but it may apply here. Have a funeral for your marriage. Acknowledge the loss. Remember the good things. Grieve the end of the marriage. Generally I suggest this post divorce but it may help with your struggles. It’s okay to not feel happy.

Don’t know how you do it. I moved out and even being desperate is better than living with that person.
