It's so stressful waiting for the hearings and not knowing what to expect or what to do. She's still living here, but that will change in a month or two. I don't know if she'll just take the kid over my objection (and without a court order or agreed plan). She might do that to establish custody?

How do I manage this stress? I suppose I know that ultimately things will be ok no matter what. Or, more realistic, things will also suck for a while no matter what.

But it's hard handling the uncertainty.

In the meantime, fellow kings, I'm in the gym every day, my weight is lowest its been in years, and I'm building some decent muscle. Not bad for 50+! At least I have that going.

Edit: My attorney gave me some good reassurance, which helped, as did just waiting a day. I slept much better last night!
