So basically, my wife is willing to not ask for child support when the divorce is finalized. From my understanding from my attorney, even if she signs off on it now, she can do it at any time as many times as she wants before the kids are 18. My question is, has anyone successfully had something drawn up saying child support is permanently “locked out” forever? I know it sounds crazy, but I really do think she would sign it given what I’m giving her in the divorce. Yes I know that means I can’t come for anything if she some day becomes a brain surgeon. I don’t care about that. I just don’t want it to ever be held over my head when she gets emotional or mad at me for whatever reason down the road.
