Ok, my stbxw(40) and myself(45) have agreed to separate(back story on previous post). We sat down together and had a plan. She got in a rush after I told her I had an appt. She stopped me right there (after a few harsh words) and went and got a lawyer. Not sure how she got a lawyer in 2 days (all the lawyers I spoke with were weeks out) A day later, I told her the appt was with my therapist (that I've been talking to for 11 months). I got the shocked look from her.

Fastward to last week. I told I had a lawyer consultation that Friday and needed the agreement her and her lawyer came up with. I got a text from her from the other room (late Wednesday night) that she had the agreement but needed to make changes. Never let me see it. Now, on Thursday, I get the agreement late (she's leaving for girl's weekend out of town) and have to see my lawyer on Friday morning.

Lawyer and I go over the agreement. 1hr is not enough time for a paper that went from one page to 23 pages. We wanted to make a few changes on some wording. 1. Not paying half her lawyer fees. 2. She has primary custody (never mentioned in our agreement 50/50 on everything). So nothing major. Just a few adjustments.

Now, I needed one document (life insurance policy). Shit hit the fan. She went from cordial to f*ck you. I need to know what what changes are being made! Still no paperwork work. Things have gone where we agreed they wouldn't. Now, blames me for getting a lawyer. Now we are living in the same house till it gets sold. She was going to buy me out so our son could grow up there.

Sorry for the long rant. Just don't understand how she can flip out (habit of hers) without even seeing the revised agreement. What the hell am I in for? Thanks for any advice.
