Don't do it. She has the upper hand and is not going to relinquish it. Restraining orders are no joke and you need take it seriously. Work on beating your case. Seriously, prepare every detail and evidence yourself...your lawyers won't.

Once you do beat it, dont agree to anything in court that you aren't going to be able to sustain. Temp orders after TRO cases are not so temporary.

It totally blows and it's crazy that this shit is even legal. More disturbing how prevalent it is.

Are you crazy or you like to court trouble? Consider a TRO in the context of divorce to be a blanket court order to make no contact of any kind and don't even let her catch sight of you in public. If the TRO is bs, don't you think she'll report a violation with proof?

Violating the TRO, which prohibits you from contacting her in any way, is a crime and you will be prosecuted for it, whether she wants that or not. It is also an aggravating factor which may be considered at the FRO hearing. If you want to communicate with her you can only do so through your lawyer. If you think you’re dealing with a clusterfuck now, go ahead and contact her and see how things really go to hell after that.

The unchecked no contact section either doesn’t need to be checked or was erroneously left unchecked. A TRO prohibits communication with the victim, at least until the FRO hearing, where that will either continue or the FRO will be denied and the TRO dismissed.
