Having used ChatGPT every day for work and personal life, I cannot possibly recommend this whatsoever. Use it to help you fix up written communication. It cannot replace a lawyer at this time. A lawyer can help you strategize, which is something that ChatGPT cannot help you with whatsoever. Use it as a supplement—not as your main strategy. Last but not least, there’s no such thing as client-attorney privilege with ChatGPT. There’s a ton of discussion about this right now. I’d stay away from doing anything that could jeopardize your case. Good luck. Take care.

I think OP is specifically talking about drafting the initial court required forms. Many municipalities do not have specific documents to file certain petitions and affidavits, and smugly recomend you hire an attorney if you ask for one. In this sense, you could draft basic orders as long as you're following filing requirements with the court. You'll need to find the state, and possibly even court-specific requirements for e-filed orders to the court and use those parameters with the AI. Obviously you will not be able to simply "one-click-fix" your divorce, but with oversight and good attention to detail on your part you could at least get a formal filing in and get the ball rolling. Worst case scenario is your e-filing fails and you get any associated fees refunded. This is no replacement for an attorney, as nothing can properly replicate the soul-crushing experience of having to pay someone %300 of your hourly wage just to end up alone with the lesser half of your stuff.
