Yes, we are nesting (I go there). I do not like it. For example ... one of my overnights is Tuesday from 5:00 PM to Wednesday at 8:00 AM. So, I leave work (I work from "home" ... currently staying at my parents until I get the equity from our home) at 4:30 PM. I have to haul all the groceries over with me for dinner.

Walk in the house and immediately start getting dinner ready (my kids are use to eating between 5-3:30 PM) ... It has to be something I can put together pretty quickly, but they are also use to from scratch, homemade well-rounded meals.

By the time dinner is served and finished it pretty much time for me to get my youngest in the bath and then put to bed (So we barely have any time together).

By the time I'm done getting the youngest put to bed, it's time for my 2nd youngest to get in the shower, brush teeth and basically go to bed (So we barely have any time together). My 2 oldest just disappear to their rooms, or their at practice, or hanging out with neighborhood friends (So I really don't see them). Then we wake up. I feed them breakfast and take them to school.

I don't know. I don't feel like I'm actually getting to spend time with my kids. I just feel like I'm a nanny/cook. I also have 1 evening per week (5-8:00 pm). This is even more frustrating to me as I pretty much just go over there (hauling groceries with me), make dinner, put my 2 youngest kids to bed and then leave.

I have every other weekend (Friday 5:00 pm - Sunday 5:00 pm). That's a little better ... Saturday feels "normal".

And, no, I don't feel comfortable at my house anymore. I just don't feel like I belong there.
