So am I stbxw have been together for six years married for five. She has two kids from a previous relationship. It is always been kind of stressful through our whole marriage for one reason or another. I’m 100% service connected disabled and she was an EMT, and then an EMT fire fighter and then home health aide But has since been on Worker’s Comp. for the past two years. we’ve been in our home for the past three years. She was supposed to help me renovated and make improvements around the property. It is always been a struggle to get her to help with anything including the normal chores over the years. She’s gotten more verbally, abusive all while making me feel like I was the bad guy some thing I’m just now realizing. I am fortunately I have ran up a lot of debt trying to work on the house and making our lives comfortable. There have certainly been times where I needed to work on the way I was handling things. she has had 2 CPO on me in the past, and I really didn’t fight them because I was trying to give her space and work it out. But now she is took out a CPO on me again an alleged punches nasty lies against me. I have a little bit of evidence to refute this, but I do not have money for an attorney. I spoke to one that was recommended she was wanting a retainer of $4500 for the divorce and another $3500 to fight the CPO no matter the outcome. I could potentially come up with a couple of thousand but nowhere near that amount for context I am not from here (Ohio) we have three vehicles only one is running. Need to rebuild the head on my car. Her SUV was in an accident. She stopped paying insurance on it six months before the accident and I didn’t know and the truck that I just bought because she wrecked the last car, which was my second vehicle. I’m still on the temporary CPO. They gave her control of the property and the truck. I do have some friends around here, but they’re limited in what they can do for me. any constructive help me greatly appreciate it, but I am not going to be surprised if I’m just roasted for being dense.
