So my STBXW have been together 20 years (married for 19) but the last 6 have been really bad since she completely shut down on me in what seemed to be out of the blue. We have two kids and I stayed and did everything I could to fix the marriage but I realized that one person cannot do it all on their own(they can go first but if the other person never follows it’s never going to work). I have gotten to a place where I believe I need to move out as I cannot do this anymore. I do feel stuck in finding a place as I do not want to go through this process but feel like I have to. I’d like to find a 2 bedroom so kids can at least stay with me half the time. I cannot imagine taking furniture or stuff outside of my clothes to my new place but cannot fathom furnishing a new place (where to find the time) as I think it would be so much easier to rent a furnished place. Need advice on how people here moved out and how they did it? I don’t want to do it but know I have to do it for me so any advice would really help. Thanks in advance.
