That’s bleak but understandable. End result though is leaving a negative view of you as a person that will never have any hope of being changed. Spend half your money on getting far away somewhere and do nothing for a month first.

Please don’t commit suicide. Please please try and focus on things that make you happy. And do plenty of exercise etc and surround yourself with any friends or family you may have and speak to them.

My mother commit suicide when I was 23 (30 now). I’m since married at 27 and gone through hell mentally. I’m now separated and going through a divorce myself and it’s HELL. We both still talk and are getting on, but there is a lot of hurt and damage I’m going through but I just know the hole my mum left when she died, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone else. Suicide causes so much pain and confusion for so many that know you. Just please try and focus on that light at the end of the tunnel, as small as that may seem. You can get there.

Or just blow your money and then don’t commit suicide. That way you get to see her face when you just shrug when she finds out there’s no money to split.

You are in the thick of it so it doesn’t seem true, but life goes on and there is happiness for you on the other side of this. Please think about giving the suicide hotline a call.

not sure why you say everyone will know you are pos...... what did you both do that makes you ending your life any better for either? oh, wait...she will then get your social security money as a widow,.so there's that reason to not do it.

Dont have such thoughts. I just went through one and although I have a daughter, it was to the disapproval of my family coz of their catholic values. I was made to feel ashamed and was made to feel guilt...and painted as a horrible person because I moved on too quick...it lead me to some depression that made me loose 60 pounds. I had to find ways to love myself and remove all the negative thoughts and worry about what my family thinks of me and just love and discover myself. So try do that..try figure out you again..try to find new ways to love yourself..learn new things about you. One way I did this was to get me a turning wheel where I wrote things that I would like to do that I've never done...examples canoeing...and I spin it at the beginning of the month. Whever it lands on, I find time to go do that activity...this really helped me a lot with my depression and I rediscover myself and loved the growth in me. Just a suggestion for you..hopefully it helps.

I felt this way for the first six months after finding out about my ex wife’s betrayal, the depth of it, and the death of my father all in May ‘18. Everything was gone, 20 + yrs of marriage, my wife as I knew her, my Dad, my home, my toys, my investments, my freedom. I focused every day on what I DID have - mainly my kids, and how I didn’t want to go out with that _____ having the upper hand.

My brother committed suicide about 9 years ago, over a falling out / break-up with a chick he’d only been dating for a few months. There were other issues of course, but ultimately it was a waste. I miss him very much now, and his death hurt a lot of people. Its not an answer to your problem.

Get whatever help you can - posting here and asking for help is one avenue, One thing that helped me the most during dark days filled with negative thoughts and self-doubt was the idea that - as crazy as my situation was that other men have been through worse.

Keep fighting. It will get easier brother - I promise you. Stay sober and do whatever you can to fight back those thoughts - running helped me. I’m going for a run now. Stay strong and remember the man you were and the image of the man you want to be. One day at a time.

Dont blow your money or your brains out. Take a few hundo and go to a strip club. Yes it's a rip off but it's good for the ego. Get some lap dances. Tip. Have a drink and a conversation. Its nice to have the attention of a female that's not your wife even if it isn't real. Also you will get over this. If you dont have kids she has minimal claim to your assets. Lastly you may have given good years to her but she gave her good years to you as well. There are tons of women out there and eventually you will find an awesome one at any age. I u understand where you are as I have been there too but life without being roped to another human being can be pretty awesome. Give it a chance.
