I’m in the early stages of a divorce in Texas and still have our first mediation scheduled next week. Currently just doing every other weekend and helping out here and there for after school activities on weeks i don’t have the kids. Wife now is trying to have me take the kids and stay at my place more during off weeks because she is stressed out. I don’t mind taking the kids more as that would be great since I do miss having them around but I am curious to see what other people’s arrangements are. Only thing that really is stopping me from this setup is the stability. My kids are 4 and 8 and I’m not sure if having them going back and forth between homes will be stressful for them.
