Other than having a plan to deal with the apartment lease and having your income deposited into an account that is only yours it doesn't sound as you need much of an exit plan. There are always excuses to wait and it never gets easier the further down the road you go.

When is the lease on the apartment up? Or is it month to month?

Make sure to open a bank account for yourself – at a separate bank from where your shared account is – and have your paychecks direct deposited to that account.

You have nothing holding you there except for your emotional ties and if they are gone enough then all you have to do is walk.

You're on a lease agreement and if assume that either of you can leave without penalty as long as one is there to fully cover the rent.

If you're both working and no kids then no alimony and no child support.

Get your living situation sorted as that will make it real and force you to shit or get off the pot. Do that first so you have somewhere to leave for. Then file and move on

Just do it, don’t wait. You don’t have assets, kids etc suggest a mediator to help with the process and draft an agreement
