My insane STBX and I were able to come to a temporary custody agreement with the help of a conciliator and a large $ bill. She was unwilling to discuss custody at all with me (or anything else). Unbeknownst to her, I had got an apartment and outfitted for the kids, and so she walked into mediation thinking she would get 2/3-1/3 without going to trial. We settled on 57/43. I'm happy with that for now and it represents the reality of my career anyway, so it works. We could have had this agreement months ago but women are insane. The conciliator had to tell her that a court hearing would not go her way, so she was given a gift by me. Now we need to decide how to explain it to the kids. Thanks for all the support I got here.
