Currently going through divorce and it's not up to the child custody phase yet. What bothers me right now is that my 9 yr old kid and I are not getting along well. My kid is not listening to me and talks back to me every time when I try to talk about responsibilities with her. My kid said I'm the worst father ever and I can sense the hate when she said it. However, she listens to her mother and never questions anything she said. She just follows her blindly and the things is that the mother cheated and filed divorce. My concerns are , Is the mother brain washing the kid to create bad reputation for me when comes to daughter and father relationship so that she gets the benefit when comes to child custody? How do I find out what my kid is thinking because she wont talk to me since she hates me.
