Moving out before the divorce is final is the worst thing you can do. The most successful men I've worked with during divorce have remained in the home. I stayed in my home for 12 months until it was final.

If you've been the primary caregiving prior to divorce, then you'll be the primary caregiver after divorce. You need to retain a family law attorney.

Do not move out until your attorney advises you to. That’s all the advice you need. Deal with it however you can for the sake of your child.

Hold tight. If you're the primary caregiver/stay at home dad, talk to an attorney about custody, child support and alimony. Don't move out right away. Get advice.
