This argument is so disingenuous. It implies the worst possible scenario with a man and the best possible scenario with the bear. If you're going to make the argument, at the very least, be fair with the comparison. It should go like this:

A man who has every intent to murder you. vs. A mother bear whose cub you just frightened.

Now choose.

Whatever, though. This argument going viral is a blessing in disguise. It's an easy way to identify the low-grade women in the dating scene.

I have really enjoyed hearing this debate argued out.

Two generations of women, brainwashed by radical feminism, have demonized men to such a point that they see men as more of a threat than a bear.

Men and society have coddled women to such an extent that they have no capacity to discern actual threats from imaginary danger.

In all honesty this just reminds everyone how much of a protected species women are that they have no preconceptions of how dangerous bears can be, let alone ever seen one.

Women aren't choosing any bears. Some women are playing hyperbole with comparisons for dramatic effect to get attention. That they are 'choosing bears' is only what they want us to think, or to pretend that we think it. I don't want to play that head game with them\*. Want my attention, talk to me without stupid games.

Or if you really have to play games with me, up the level. The bear game is like junior high, and I'm quite a bit older than that (as are most of the bear-callers, incidentally).

* Edit: Sorry, got a dyslexic moment. Swapped them and me around, like left and right, or east or and west. Once upon a time, I signed a letter with the recipient's name.

It's F up that these women are low key accusing the men who disagree with them of being abusers. Implying that any man that disagrees would harm a woman in the woods alone.

I don't even understand this. Let's pretend for a second that the men who are upset with the man vs bear thing are being misogynistic. So some nobody on the internet being misogynistic is worse to you than being mauled to death by a bear? That's the reason you'd pick the bear? What an incredibely sheltered life that must be.
