Honestly? We should just let them have their happy little wombyn-only utopia. Good chance to put their beliefs to the test.

The good news is that the 'no light pollution' would almost be a near certainty.

There are women-ruled societies out there, like the Musuo in China. All mud huts and little if any imported technology, and none home-grown.

One stipulation I'd make is when these women go to their utopia we cut off any electricity whatsoever, then sit back and wait. Hell even if they do have wires running in there guess what percentage of electricians are men?

This is why men aren't stupid enough to want a whole city 50 miles in the middle of nowhere without women. It takes both genders to keep a civilization running.

you could bet men would do everything in their power to invade and ruin it, calling upon "rEveRSe-seXiSm", even though men periodically have spaces women are barred from entry

We used to have spaces where women were barred from entry, but women did everything in their power to invade and ruin them, calling up Sexism. The lack of self awareness of these people.

Seriously, what men and/or boys only spaces are left anymore? Because when I look around all I see are women's only spaces.

[–]Subversive 21 points22 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Nuh uh, because unless it's a specifically defined women-only space, by default it becomes a male space. That's just how it works.

/s in case anyone needs it.

We used to have spaces where women were barred from entry,

That wasn't good, either, though. Gender-exclusive spaces have no place in today's society.

[–]galacticdude71 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

I'd argue that there is value in having dedicated gender-exclusive spaces for all genders, a space to be free of the expectations of the other genders and be able to engage in comradery with other members of one's gender.

There was a lot of problems with the way things used to be, a lot of gender-exclusive spaces in the past prevented access to resources and opportunities to the excluded genders, and all exclusionary places run the risk of becoming echo chambers, but when done right, these spaces can be beneficial for the people in them and for society as a whole in my opinion.

The biggest issue in regards to this right now in my view isn't that women's only spaces exist and are exclusionary to men, but that women are allowed to create spaces for themselves, but men for the most part are not afforded the same privilege.

There's the problem - where humans are concerned how do you "do things right"?

Policing of women-only spaces is now irrevocably associated with TERFs.

The Women’s Music Festival in Michigan, annual for many years, was restricted to only “born-women”. By about 2015, this was seen as unforgivably transphobic, and the event died.

[–]Organic-Efficiency10 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Honestly I think a lot of feminists are only against TERFs as trans people are a small minority. So even if they don’t like trans people, they see their small numbers and think that it is not a hill they want die on. This is at least what I feel is the case while reading some of the stuff on ask feminist, two x etc

[–]devasiaachayan 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Such a place can't exist because these same women live in privilege that men working in underprivileged works provide to them

[–]reddithatesmen2 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Where is thst from?

Appalling

[–]Exotic_Midnight4652 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Then we can have male only spaces. I can go out at night without worrying about a random woman harassing me while running.

[–]RatDontPanic 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Why fight one wrong by engaging in another?

[–]Organic-Efficiency10 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I mean street harassment is a big problem , that disproportionately affects women, and should be solved but statistically a woman is way more likely to raped by someone she already knows and also most female murder victims are killed by family members. I suspect these people already know these facts but still say stuff like this.

[–]ImportantResults 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I've seen people like this increase lately.

I think this is the result of the hysteria that the feminism narrative infuses in kids and teens as they indoctrinate them.

[–]Electrical-Try585 -4 points-3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

you guys are the ones who want to let men into your changingrooms

[–]cromulent_weasel 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Bigotry can die in a fire.

[–]wumpus_woo_ 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

No

[–]TheAutisticSchoolboy 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Why? WHY?!?!? Why do some women have to shit on men with all their might?

[–]daddyMacCadillac 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

South Dakota seems like a good place to start

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
