Do you thin there is a correlation between low intelligence and BP/RP? Or is it just lack of social skills and depression?

I doubt that this has to with intelligence. It's regarding upbringing, previous experiences, and/or trauma/pain as well as possibly entirely lacking exposure to healthy women in a world that predominantly thinks the internet is a valid replacement for face to face interactions.

General intelligence may make you help solve problems in general, but it (sadly) doesn't imply critical thinking ability.

In my mind, it's regarding desperation and suggestibility. I've seen very intelligent people draw entirely non-useful conclusions at an extremely high rate while also being absolutely convinced that they're correct about them.

So you know, intelligence is definitely a useful property, just not on its own.

Number 1 correlation is trauma and abusive families of origin, it’s not healthy to go through life believing that there is a magic formula for manipulating other people into giving you selfish benefit and unconditional love. Just typing that out, clearly it’s some type of personality disordered thinking, coming from a lack of love and validation from a parent to a child as a PERSON that is now in a grown up body.

One of my friends who is into TRP has mild Aspergers and an extensive trauma history involving women. His dad is a deadbeat POS who wasn't in his life and his mom was both neglectful and abusive (she used to smoke meth when we were younger). I think he may have been molested by some of the people his mom brought around. I also think he was the product of an unplanned pregnancy which is why his mother treated him as a burden, so he has some unresolved "mommy issues."

While he seems to be of normal intelligence, I find him to be lacking both social skills and self-awareness. He says and does things which are inappropriate and offensive to women, but doesn't have the skills to understand why they are offended. The consequence is that he sees himself as the victim when he drives them away with his behaviors and has started to blame them for how he's been treated. He is lucky in that he is unusually attractive and can get dates, but his lack of insight means that his relationships end in failure and rejection.

Another issue is that he can't spot the signs that someone he is dating is toxic, so he has dated some borderlines and narcissists and had some real serious relationship trauma. One girl cheated on him and sent him a video of herself having a threesome with two other guys. I think all of these things come together to reinforce his RP worldview. He is not in a healthy place and is blaming feminism and women for his short-comings.

I would say its intelligence isn't the right word to describe it. More like maturity.

Some men have a hard time accepting that they are either the problem or that generalizing all women are bad based off a few experiences is wrong.

Low intelligence? A lot of these men are hurt. I got into red pill because I was dealing with the negative emotions tied to women emotionally abusing, sexually assaulting, manipulation, and overall bad behavior I've experienced from women. One YouTube search is enough to conjure up videos on "female nature" to explain "their" (I say that because this is universal human behavior and not just female behavior) and bam. These videos and communities feed on the vulnerabilities of men that are suffering. I have no idea how you could possibly come to the conclusion intelligence is even related.

Lack of self reflection, I think.

Which some may say is a lack of intelligence.

I think most societies view intelligence as a set thing you’re born with. You can definitely grow to be an intelligent person over time by changing your thought process.

Neural plasticity is real. Self reflection encourages it.

I think it’s a lack of social skills coupled with fear of rejection and has nothing to do with intelligence. I know doctors who participate in toxic redpill behaviors…it’s so obvious and sad bc they are adding to their own misery. They are looking for clear rules when dealing with the unknown…women.

Might want to throw in personality disorders as a correlation. Possibly Cluster B types. I‘ve done some research, and they seem to have many characteristics associated with antisocial personality disorder and/or narcissistic personality disorder.

Most definitely is lack of social skills. Mental disorders/illnesses by no means predispose a man to lack of romantic success or RP/BP thought but they can play a significant role as well.

Plus, we see plenty of men of low/average intelligence be sexually and romantically active all the time.

I’m an autistic guy and never quite had stellar social skills. This put me a little behind in the dating market. I was aware of why I had less success in the dating market and that my poor social skills from my disability were a leading cause. I felt like the system was just rigged against introverted men, especially those with a default social malfunction like what autism gives you.

I wouldn't say they're low IQ, they have lots of trauma and I think majority would fit the narcissistic personality disorder description. (I don't mean it in the trendy, oh they love themselves too much they're a narcissistis, but the actual psychological description), these traits all stem from a terrible childhood or other sort of trauma. I wouldn't say they're not intelligent, some of them definitely are, its just their reality is warped from their trauma.
