This was also how I had gotten into the redpill because I was (and still am apparently but not as bad) really easily influenced, especially by the negative points.

Eventually I got kind of "cured" when I stopped consuming that content, browsing this sub and others like it and had a talk with some more intelligent and realistic people, and finally I looked around me more carefully and realized that the redpill is mostly a lie perpetuated by con artists, dumb teenagers and men who haven't processed their trauma.

However, even if I eliminated all this content from my feed, sometimes I still have to interact with people IRL who have this kind of thinking (some friends who I can't avoid and a family member). I don't bother changing their views because it's futile, but the problem is that it affects me and makes me paranoid and I start wondering what if they're right and I will experience this sort of shit in the future, which makes me anxious and it goes on like this for hours until it goes away on it's own, but I hate the fact that it still has an effect on me and my mental state and I don't know how to stop it from affecting me.
