IMO the RedPill misses some really important bits to understand human behavior. And by skipping all those important parts, you end up with an insecurity machine where people end up being terrified of being settled for emotionally and sexually.

1) Tinder is 80% male and doesn't represent real life. Dating apps won't work for most men because they are almost all male.

2) You need an active social life to date. Join some hobbies and activities, make some friends. You need to meet women in everyday life. Most couples still meet in social settings, through friends is the most common way. Approach women in social settings, not randomly on the street or subway. The later rarely works, that's not about you, but a reflection of the cold approach.

3) People need to click. Connection is a huge part of dating.

Dating isn't an Excel spreadsheet. You don't choose the most conventionally attractive x highest social status x highest salary partner you can get.

Most people just look for someone they are attracted to and click with. And attraction is a mix of who's their type (people have different types), the chemistry/connection between you and what their personality is like.

The clicking bit is how some people are just on your wavelength. You can stay up all night talking to them, you laugh with them, you understand each other. It's like with friends. Some people you meet and feel like there's a potential friendship there bc you get along. And others it's like pulling teeth to talk to, bc you are too different.

4) People fall in love. Relationships don't always work out. But falling in love is a huge thing. When you are in love with someone you want That Guy or That Girl. The person isn't replaceable for you. If you meet someone more conventionally attractive/richer/whatever, it's just not interesting to you. You don't want to swap your partner for a famous celebrity or a model or a more popular person. You want That Person.

If people didn't fall in love, everyone would be settling. I'm normal cute, not a model. So any man who was in a relationship with me, would be settling for me when he'd really prefer someone 10/10. In reality though, when you fall in love with someone they just look like the cutest thing ever to you.

Falling in love is most intense in the first 1-2 years. The honeymoon phase. But when it calms down a bit, you get to see if the person is right for you. If they are, you just love them deeper and deeper as time passes. Love is a heavy thing. You can't swap someone you love for a random other person and be as content. The happiness is in the feelings and the bond between you.

5) If you do want to bond with someone, you do need to be vulnerable with them. Yes, it's a risk. But the other alternative, where you just keep a mask on? Can't get a sustainable relationship or deep love from that. And if you treat people badly and always put yourself first, you do protect yourself from being hurt, but you also remove your chance of finding a good relationships. You'll push away all the good partners who want healthy relationships.

6) The "Body Count" thing is just insecurity. It's made out to be a values thing, it's really mostly a body dysmorphia thing. Men feel insecure that they won't measure up. Literally. And it's sad because it's not how sex works for most women. People don't go running around rating all their sex partners in numerical order. And its definitely not that the biggest dick= the best sex. 70% of women don't come from PIV sex and lesbian women have better sex on average that straight women. Idk, good sex is just not a dick measuring contest and if she's been with someone with a bigger penis before or not doesn't really matter.

Chemistry, communication, feeling comfortable and caring about your partner having fun is the important parts for having great sex. And then just educating yourself a bit about the human body.

On average women have better sex in relationships because it just works better with someone you feel comfortable with, have romantic feelings for, can communicate easily with and who does care about you. They did a survey of women's experience having hookups. 90% didn't even come from their last one night stand.

So the idea that you have to find someone who's got little experience or you'll risk not measuring up? It's not how it works.

7) If you want a healthy, lasting relationship you need to look for a kind, compatible partner you connect with. And you also have to be kind to your partner.
