Given that RealDolls are 95% realistic with some uncanny valley, and that remote VR drone piloting technology exists, it seems straight forward to merge the two into RealDolls that can serve as "avatars" for people in the real world. This means that all relationships can be long distance with RealDolls serving as the proxy for each partner. A partner's biological appearance would be irrelevant since that is never seen by the partner. Everyone can look like a "Chad" or "Stacy" but with their unique personalities. It will also prove once and for all that personality is what keeps the relationship going (or not).
