It was honestly unnerving and rather sad to see. I don't know if it is still like this, but back then these POC guys would get gaslit so hard. The reality is dating as POC in a place where POC is the majority compared to dating where POC is minority, well ..it is very different.

I think there were plenty of dismissive responses, ridicule masked as tough love, and the subtle "go back where you are from, bro". On the other hand hand, the "go back where you are from" is probably one of the most realistic advice to get a partner because suddenly they are no longer a minority and thus can do the numbers game. I remembered a South Korean redditor who was hailed as one of example of HVM/chad, when he ended up moving back to SK to look for a partner, the comments were split.

Some applauded that as "bro had to do what bro had to do! That's an Alpha right there!" and some others used it as proof that even when you are HVM/Chad, when you are a POC, you are playing in different level of difficulty.

I think not long after that subreddit justbewhite (is it still around?), started to gain tractions.

There’s definitely different factions of the manosphere. Each comes with their own grievances specific to their unique struggles as POC in predominantly white, western countries. They mostly focus on battling stereotypes and “ascending” to the level of being able to date all women. I see a lot of POC creators that focus on gaining proximity to whiteness, specifically white girls, and “mogging” white men. There’s lots of tips and tricks for how to get them (like there’s some sort of instruction manual) and debating how much race detracts from their ability to achieve “Chad” status. From what I’ve seen, south Asian men seem to have it the worst due to their “creepy” reputation, and will focus on distancing themselves from their roots to be more palatable to the white gaze. I’ve literally seen men give the advice “stop eating curry if you want to attract girls” before and it made me nauseous.

The redpill community is racist af and leans far right. The white dudes into it tend to lean or directly support "race realism" (where black men are conveniently always unintelligent hyper testosterone criminals & asians sexless nerd bots but white men are individuals)

And even the various POC in it have their own types of internalized problems generally with some differences between ethnic groups but one oft seen issue is being affected by internalized racism + white supremacy, fetishization of white women & feelings of inferiority)

For South Asian dudes: kind of a mix of east asian stereotypes like nerdy, foriegn etc but also have been casted as "creepy" as someone else said

East asian: dealing with racist stereotypes of non-masculinity & also feeling rejected by Asian women who date white men at a high rate (again most ppl date inside their race tho) . I see focuses on masculinity and stuff

For black men: unlike the above groups black men are hypersexualized & hypermasculinized even amongst redpill. From what I see a lot more focus on black women & a lot of gender war shit from people whove been hurt or rejected by those theyre attracted to.. A lot of projection "black women want tyrone/thugs" yadda this that. There are the ones who hate black women entirely (F&F examples of this).

Basically a lot of entitlement to women, misogyny, internalized self hatred including internalizing stereotypes and feelings of rejection.

Well the red pill is mainstream so more communities are finding it and placing their own spin on it. It was mainly created by white guys and heavily populated by white guys on online forums including Reddit. Black dudes then found it and placed their own spin on it. Now enter AMS, Fresh and Fit, Fitxfearless, and the even more famous Kevin Samuels and the countless other “smaller” channels with tens of thousands of subscribers and hundreds of thousands of views with the “occasional” million viewer video.

These guys main thing is to help guys deal with their women issues and to stop getting their ass kicked in divorce court. As members to these communities became more and more young men, then the narrative of these communities changed to help these young guys “usually some sheltered nerd” to attract more women so they started posting about how to dress/act in a way that attracts more women.

Eastern cultures such as South/East Asians are more traditional minded so this stuff is usually not gonna spread as well in those communities, but as the increasing amount of white/black people do this stuff, the east/south Asian guys have to adapt as well and even culturally those “terms” like “HVM” are gonna be more popular. Remember, the majority of western prosperous countries are mainly white/black.

Each community has their own issues and obstacles when it comes to attracting women, so each community simultaneously will come up with ways to do that in a simple/efficient way. That’s all. For example I’m a top poster on SAM sub Reddit and I go over these issues as well but focused on South Asian men. We don’t have as many followers as the subreddits of White/Black/Latino/Asian guys because our Desi culture is heavily against this stuff but we do exist and we exist for a reason.
