I don’t really believe in the red pill because if it were true, I wouldn’t be in the place I am today. But overall, I have always been subconsciously drawn to the physical attractiveness component of the red pill and black pill because it made me feel validated and gave me hope. I mostly like the way I look and I am pretty much in compliance with the “six feet, six figures, six pack” standard promoted in red pill space. So whenever I see the beauty standards promulgated in red pill space, I think to myself “I got that pretty much down” or “I am good the way I am”.

This isn’t necessarily true for the behavioral requirements of the red pill, but these requirements seem to be much more ubiquitously accepted. You hear the essential “alpha male” traits confidence and assertiveness promoted in almost every dating space. “Just be confident bro” is an advice which can be pretty much found everywhere. Even people who want to define a “new masculinity” usually do not deviate to much from these traits – usually, they add just stuff on top, making the requirements even more suffocating.
