What was the thing that was easiest to recognize as BS when you left TRP

For me personally it was the beta/alpha male trope, altough different people have different opinions on what it means to be either alpha/beta so. The term alpha male was made by a man who studied wolfs, but a bit later he found out that there were no alpha, and that it was simply the oldest wolfs that led the pack
