Recovering pickmeisha here. Historically, if I see a guy more than a few times and there’s chemistry I tend to put all my eggs in one basket and commit too soon. I see now thanks to FDS how important it is to keep options open while delaying physical intimacy for as long as possible. The problem is that while I can recognize this intellectually, if I have a good thing going with someone it’s hard not to go back to my old ways! I’ve seen someone now three times and it’s been so good, I can already feel the warm fuzzies creeping in and crush feelings developing. I’ve continued chatting with multiple guys on OLD but I realize this isn’t quite the same as actually plating.
Anyone have any tips on powering through this? I tried to set up a date with someone new and immediately felt like I was being disloyal which I know is crazy.
