Are extremely HV people less common than extremely wealthy or conventionally attractive people?

I'm young (20) so I don't have too much experience and I come from a very dysfunctional family so my view may be tainted, but, yes.

Generally speaking, the world we live in doesn't reward being high value - capitalism often requires a certain sense of conceit if you want to be successful, being toxic is often rewarded socially when you're young, it's seen as cool or edgy to do drugs, sleep around, play people etc. Being moralistic is often conflated with being boring or prudish so people push against these things in an effort to seem progressive or quirky.

I've always been a bit of a loner and I suspect it's due to being on the spectrum (currently trying to get a diagnosis), though I desperately wanted to fit in when I was younger, as I get older I'm becoming more comfortable with solitude as it's the only way to really achieve what you want in a society that rewards bad behavior with social clout. Most LV behavior imo is akin to the "crabs in a barrel" mentality, people want to fit in and tend to do whatever's popular, whatever popular tends to benefit whoever's in charge and consequently disenfranchise laypeople by damaging their physical, mental, or emotional health. This also doesn't account for generational trauma, it's only bcs we're currently in an age of information that a lot of people are able to go to therapy or overcoming what ails them and go on to be high value

I'd say they are more common in strict, hardworking families that rear their kids well. And actually discipline them.

I do not know if all wealthy people are HV. I can however speak to the conventionally attractive bit. I have two stories about how very attractive people can be LV. In my early 20’s, I was best friends with the most physically attractive woman. She was beautiful. However, she was very LV. She cheated on her partners, and often would go out of her way to “seduce” other women’s husbands. She was mean and nasty and always tried to bring everyone down around her. She would make abusive comments constantly. Clearly, I am no longer her friend. This woman was so attractive. Men would flock around her , most women were jealous of her looks. I never felt threatened by her. I am also highly attractive. I just could not tolerate her bullying of other women. She was also an alcoholic, and smoked too much.

My second story is about a very attractive man I used to date. He was very attractive, fit and tall. He seemed to be in high demand. Many women seemed to like him. After a while he became more and more insecure. He was addicted to porn and his peen didn’t work. He grew a pot belly. He had no adult aspirations, cheated, and abused women. He was NVM. Just because someone is breathtaking in the looks department, doesn’t make them HV. Anyone can be LV and anyone can be HV.
