For a bit of context, this image was posted in a popular computer subreddit and has above 8000 upvotes. Every single comment pointing out how unfunny it is has been downvoted into oblivion.

Ladies, value yourself and say no to LVM/NVM. If you're going to be the one doing all the chores on a daily basis you might as well live alone. One person to clean after is easier.

I've noticed this trend online where "woke" men instruct other men that foreplay begins long before any physical contact and that if they want to get their woman in the mood, they need to begin earlier in the day with stuff like compliments and helping out around the house. Because the only way men can bring themselves to be verbally affirming to their partner and to behave like a contributing adult of a household is if they're incentivized by sex.

Some of them get so close to hitting on basic human decency but then, nope, it's gotta veer off into self centered bullshit. The thought of living with someone who only says nice things to me and helps clean because they have ulterior motives makes me nauseous. Imagine your man only saying something like that you look beautiful because he wants to get into your pants later. Imagine walking into the kitchen to your man doing dishes and knowing it's only because he fucked up, betrayed you, and/or wants to have sex and knows that his chances aren't good if you resent him for not caring enough about you and your home that he cleans of his own volition. Except it means exactly just that, that he doesn't actually care about you, if he only ever compliments and cleans when he's trying to get forgiveness or some action.

This really isn't even a joke. I was on wsb today and there was a post about doing something "nice" like the dishes or laundry as a way of managing emotions after a bad day. Something nice. Can you believe that? As if being a functioning human is going above and beyond. After losing a ton of money no less. Maybe the general lack of emotional inteligence in males is why AI is taking so long to feel human.
