I'm trying this thing where I'm consciously trying to catch myself every time I'm mentally making a judgement about another woman, and making sure I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt.

Divorced woman who's fighting hard for custody? Assume she has good reason to
"Crazy" woman who ran away from home? Assume something bad must have happened to make her do this.
Naggy girlfriend who's got a guy down? Assume she's asking for reasonable things.

Now, given more information, it's possible my feelings may change. But in doing this exercise, I'm finding out exactly how much we're socialized to assume the worst in women as a default. Time to change that narrative!

It's why they want to prevent us from doing anything, why they've devalued older women (since we all need that good bubbe/nan/granny who will give us the scoop on the reality here), insert themselves in our spaces and police everywhere but here.

We don't just provide cohesiveness within families, we also hold communities together, bring innovation, provide support, boost development, improve economy, and most importantly - we do all this without resorting to wars, crime and violence.

um sorry but I find this so damn funny coming from her when she shaded Taylor Swift after the Kanye drama when he said he made her famous, zendaya like a bunch of shady tweets about Taylor being a bitch and said that they were never actually friends even tho Taylor put her in one of her music videos, gave her loads of gifts, made her a plus one when attending the billboard awards and was nothing but kind to her. Even when Taylor was the one that was actually right all along still zendeya still never apologised to her. . sorry but to me zendaya seems like a shady person and a hypocrite. maybe she's changed but she can't be out here saying this after she tore down another woman and sided with a mentally ill man who tried to take credit for a woman's work....and still never even apologised.

If we could just get together and stop competing with one another ... many of us know about FDS, but many more don’t. If even ‘most’ women knew, we could put a dent in our social/dating/mating situations for good. Those that don’t are still accommodating L/NVM, so when a woman who knows better turns him away, there is always a pick me or a woman that is ignorant to FDS that will deal with him. The incentive for men to step up is low (in part) because of this - but the ideology of FDS is spreading. I hope I get to see the day of harmonious, loving and equitable relationships and family structures for all. 😊
