Hey guys,

I’ve posted on here a couple times about my situation with a guy, who is now my boyfriend. I’m having trouble dealing with the disparity between our attractiveness. I’m Hispanic but I’m white and on the chubbier side. I’m currently working on improving that by going to the gym.So yeah I look like an egg almost. My boyfriend is fit and athletic and just not my looksmatch at all. Literally all his friends are more attractive than me. It kind of drives me crazy. I trust him and i care about him, and I believe he feels the same. However, I’m just being really insecure rn.

I try to be a strong woman. I’ve always used makeup, and I’m trying to improve. I desperately want to be confident. How do you guys deal with this? It probably sounds like I’m whining but I’m just unattractive. Literally the other day, I was sitting with him and we were greeted by a college girl he knows. She was just super feminine, attractive, just everything I want to be. It appears like he’s staying close to home since he’s a senior going to college next year. The school he’s going to is a party school with lots of pretty girls of course. I’m kinda scared he won’t want to be with me after seeing all the women over there.I just feel like he’s too good to me and this is too good to be true. He hasn’t shown any red flags but I feel like any day he’ll break up with me after realizing that almost all women are more attractive than me. He can probably get with and date even the most attractive woman I bet.

I try to not be so insecure with him obviously. Like I said, I try to act confident. But this faking it till you make it just doesn’t work for me. I’m super awkward around people and it just bothers me.

I work hard in school, improving myself, actually started socializing with people. But these insecurities from the past always get to me. It still feels like I’m the same insecure girl from the past and nothing has improved even though I objectively have.
