It's scary how good deep faking has gotten. It should REALLY make women think twice about posting their beach photos. At least, I'm relieved I never cared about posting photos of myself anywhere. You don't even need to pay for like quality software, there are apps that do this shit convincingly enough already

Deep fakes are a huge problem for women and girls. Anyone in the public eye can be targeted and have deep fakes created and distributed to shame them. One Indian journalist for example was being threatened after a deep fake porn video of her was released online.

When I try to talk to people about this they just seem to shrug. The men make jokes and then women harp on about how it's so wrong that women are still shamed for doing porn. Like seriously? That's what you're going to be arguing here?
