True. Men will tell us to stop watching romance movies and say its not realistic or fair to expect "Prince Charming" but yet they'll try to convince a woman to settle and marry for "tRuE LoVe" all the time. If we want anything more we're too "materialistic."

Someone who truly loves you would tick all those boxes. So instead, we should strive to accurately assess guys as opposed to wearing rose-tinted glasses, like many women make the mistake of doing.

Don't marry a poor man for love. Love will blind you and you'll make sacrifices for him that you shouldn't make. Then 15 years later when he still hasn't achieved his "potential" or has cheated on you, the love you once had for him will be gone and you'll see him for the LVM he truly is. Marry someone that can offer you something else besides love, that way your life won't be filled with struggle and sacrifices and you won't be left with nothing if things do go sour.

Plus one of the main reasons for divorce is money issues, so you're lowering the likelihood that you will get divorced if you choose a financially stable man. (Choir of LVM in the background are already screeming: GoLDiGgEr!!!!1! Reeeeeeeeeeeee!)

I agree, but I think by love they meant mere sexual attraction. Love is a rarity these days, maybe even more than other things mentioned. And it includes most of them anyway.
