My father is a doctor and my mother was a SAHM you better believe he NEVER woke up anyone up on his way out—it’s called courtesy—he made his own breakfast too (I know, OP must think my mother was a real gold digger) and left for work earlier than 8 am. More like 6:30 am. He would have never left my mother at a restaurant by herself when he was on-call because they scheduled their date nights for when he wasn’t on call but he ate dinner with us mostly every night because we’d eat late.

As for my mother, sitting at home and “bettering herself”? More like she raised four kids on her own in a foreign country while my dad worked 12 hour days to support us so you’d better believe my dad didn’t disturb her in the mornings when she had a chance to sleep in, which wasn’t until all of us had moved out. Her oldest was 30 when her youngest moved out. For thirty years she cooked and cleaned for all of us.

My dad managed to work those hours and he still did at the gardening, snow shoveling and house maintenance work PLUS coaching competitive soccer and attending almost all of our sports games PLUS weekend tournaments.

Now that he’s semi-retired he still does all the gardening plus at least half the housework and cooking. He also takes care of his autistic grandson during the day on weekends.

No cheating, no video games, no porn, no dumping my mother for a trophy wife. Waited on her hand and foot when she had a hip replacement.

You don’t have to worship doctors, ladies, they are just people too, the male doctors are just men.

If he wanted to, he would.

Just cause a dude has a fancy job doesn't mean he should dictate what time you get up or what you do on Sunday morning. If your job allows you to wake up at noon, do it.

If you can't trust someone after a long time, they're not your person. Doesn't really matter if it's your trust issues even - clearly whatever this person does stresses you out. Broccoli stresses me out so I don't eat it lol. 🥦
