YEP- low value men will always have some sob story in their treasure chest of BS about their ex 'cheating on them/breaking their heart' because they don't feel safe around you. Its their excuse to remain emotionally unavailable & not put themselves at risk. They don't 'trust' you or want to 'commit' because they know you won't stick around for their bullshit and can do miles better than them anyway. Hence why they are hesitant to go all in. These are usually broken men lacking in esteem or resilience. And they've probably been nexted by a high value woman before. They've always bat out their league and had it hit them right back in the face. They will then seek to get 'revenge' on women and project all this insecurity/rejection.

Stop giving these cocky fuckboys so much credit when they act up (they are weak deep down)- when presented with a smart attractive woman who's on the ball- low value men feel insignificant and unsafe. They know you have the strength to walk, they know you have the wit to sniff them out and they know you have the options to upgrade them faster & they know its a matter of time before you sniff their weakness (so why would they want to invest?). Basically- they know you have the upperhand & they don't like it- so they attempt some reverse psychology shit to lower your esteem &gain control of the situation...to force you into a scarcity mindset chasing them. If you're aware of your value- why would the low value male feel safe if he's hiding under a persona?
