My friend is visiting home for spring break. She also brought her boyfriend she’s been dating for a few months so he could meet her family and friends. Last night we (my friend, her boyfriend, and me) were hanging out at my house and we were playing board games while having a few drinks. At some point we get on the topic of men and I start ranting. I could tell no one was really listening but I kept going anyway. I said something along the lines of “Casual sex only benefits men. 99% of the time the sex sucks anyways”. My friend replied with a “uh huh”, but it was the kind of uh huh where you aren’t really listening to what the person is saying. Take in mind everyone was slightly tipsy anyways from having a few drinks. Their relationship also started with them having casual sex. Her LVM BF is listening to the conversation and gets so offended by her reply that he ran out of my house and went to the car. We thought he was just playing around and we start laughing about it. We go out to her car because we had to pick up our friends anyway and we come to find out her bf is legitimately mad. This guy gives her the silent treatment the whole car ride while she’s begging him to talk to her. She says sorry a million times. Eventually he gets over it and goes back to normal. Ladies am I crazy or was that kind of behavior ridiculous?
