2 -Okay I didn't realize this was a common thing guys said on dating apps...I get this message a lot! I just don't understand what he's trying to accomplish with this? Like I get coming across as self-aware is kinda funny but this just screams "I see you as temporary and I don't wanna explicitly say that so I'm gonna joke about it." no thank ya.

1 - Cosmo or some other publication told men that ironic/cheesy pick up lines were funny in 2014 and messages like these are the result. Stop. Please. Also the pickmes that put "sEnD mE a FUnNy pIcK uP LInE" and nothing else in their bio are encouraging this. STOP 😂

5 - Fishing for pity responses/dates is not cute and is a little creepy to me. We don't know each other and shouldn't have any attachment...why are you so offended by my silence?
