I was shocked that someone as amazing as Twigs would date Shia in the first place. I hope she wins her case, the descriptions of what she endured with him are sickening.

In fairness AH was treated exactly the same. Even after the whole British court thing some people decided Depp was being abused, even though the court decided all of AH's accusations were real. They had a toxic relationship and some of AH's behaviours were questionable at best, but none of the things she said were lies. And yet people want to paint him as a victim.

As for Twigs making better choices in who she dated, we all know LaBeouf is problematic, but the way she explained it is that he basically love bombed her and we all can fall prey for that unfortunately. It's really sad that we have to protect ourselves from men like that.

In the beginning when Amber first put all her accusations out there, the response was almost identical. Johnny Depp was very very cancelled.

The biggest issue with most of the amber heard stuff and why the backlash against her was so harsh. Was because he had a bunch of documentation that she was the one who was like that. They’re both clearly toxic as fuck. But she basically painted herself as a completely innocent victim and him the abuser. When the reality of the situation was far different. Yet that was two people of various levels of toxicity. She tried to publicly drag him when she was just as guilty in the situation and it backfired. If they’re both toxic and she knew she had acted just as toxic and crazy she should have just shut up about it. Instead she decided to drag him and ruin his career. It’s an unfortunate cycle of actions have consequences.

Shia on the other hand has a large history that’s well documented about anger management issues. Everyone will believe it was him in a heart beat. Johnny depp, has a very much projected nice guy who does good things and hasn’t done anything publicly crazy in a long time. The public sees he’s the good guy who goes to children hospitals and the disconnect with he’s this toxic person behind closed doors. The backlash against him initially was twice as nasty as what’s happening right now with Shia, and a lot of it was because depp was a lot more relevant and still is.

What you’re seeing right now with depp and heard is the fall out after a good year or so of this back and forth he said she said.

Right now with Shia it’s like yep not surprised dude is angry and crazy.

He’ll be cancelled but depending on how in demand he is and how good his pr team is depends on how he bounces back. Look at Chris brown as an example of that.
