I know the community advocates not telling about prior trauma and I think it's a good blanket rule since most men are LVM.

However, I think that with a vetted, married, HVM partner it can be a healing experience.

Sharing trauma before fully processing it independently and with a mental health expert is a recipe for disaster, though.

This is alarming. That is not how you handle trauma, this is incredibly codependent and completely ANTI-FDS.

OP if you think that this is how trauma should be handled, you need serious therapy. Anyone who thinks this is cute behaviour, reflect on why you think this. You do not need a man to save you. You need to build confidence through therapy and self-reflection.
