The Grinch is here to remind you that sometimes men can do sweet little things like this and still abuse you.

My husband folds my underwear neatly when it’s dry. He keeps the Brita in the fridge because I like my water cold (even though he likes it room temp). He refills my water bottle before I notice it’s empty. He would wake up earlier than me and make me a peanut butter jelly sandwich for work before he went to his. He brings me treats I love often, sometimes with flowers when he knows I had a bad day. He always opens my can of soda and always does the dishes so I won’t ruin my nails. He cleans my hair from the shower drain because he knows I hate doing it (I never ever asked). He gently removed my makeup with micellar water multiple times when we came back drunk from Holiday parties and I fell asleep. There’s so much more too.

And he was compulsively cheating on me our whole relationship, every single week (sometimes many many times a week), since we started dating.

(Obviously I found out after many years… hah)

P.S - I’m youthful, a solid 8-9 depending on who you ask, have my own career, no baggage before I met him, always super faithful, good cook, and we had sex obviously. I was doing all the “trad wife with a sexy twist” shit to a T, plus reading all the communication and marriage books to make sure I was doing great. He was simply trying to get his cake and eat it too (and putting me through sexual coercion and psychological abuse).
