Anytime I see "Long Distance Boyfriend" I cringe. So very few of these situations work out long term and so often its an extra lazy way for the nvm to "have a girlfriend" while putting in even less effort. Also it's one thing to talk to someone in text and video, it's another thing entirely in person where you see their full body language, they way they smell, their quirks etc.

Unfortunately my ex was on disability too and he wanted me to do those exact things and move back to my hometown, which I didn't. I felt that was too overextended myself for him when he wouldn't give back. I'm glad she was able to find concrete common sense.

Ok then, but being a disability-aware kind of person I realize he probably did not want her to be a sole caregiver. Like, she should not quit her job. But if he has a physical disability, maybe 1 person not enough to care? Especially if he's a man (heavy).
